The Fort Fraser Trail will undergo a repaving project starting February 1, 2021 that will take approximately 30 days to complete. The new pavement will enhance the safety for trail users. The work will affect a one-fourth mile segment of the trail starting at the beginning of the entrance road for the new Lake Hancock Boat Ramp and running south off U.S. 98.
For the duration of the work, trail users may experience complete closure of this segment of the trail or may be redirected intermittently. Trail patrons are strongly encouraged to avoid this area but may still use the trail segments on both north and south sides of the work area.
