The Adviser Network is the Polk TPO's citizen-involvement model to garner early and consistent feedback on transportation planning and projects.
Adviser Network members are invited to attend quarterly community forums that are geared toward generating discussions and gathering comments on relevant transportation planning projects. Members are also provided with a special edition Adviser USB drive with important TPO documents, maps, graphics and more.
Adviser Network members will receive news and updates via email and are encouraged to follow us on Facebook. The TPO strives to keep its constituents informed through interactive workshops, a wide range of multimedia tools and varying educational opportunities.
There is no time commitment necessary to become an Adviser, only a desire to serve your local communities by participating in the ongoing conversations regarding transportation's importance in supporting development and a safer, more mobile county.
