            <p>Bartow, FL  &#8211; Wind Power, horse power, solar power, knowledge, water from Clouds, C02, bubbles, recycled trash and manure; these are just a few of the award-winning,&#8220;out of the box&#8221; ideas for future fuels that Polk County students came up with for the 6th Annual Polk Transportation Planning Organization&#8217;s (<span class="caps">TPO</span>)  poster contest. Students created a future transportation vehicle or process and described the fuel they will be using in the year 2030. The students were also asked to keep in mind the lack of fossil fuels in the future and keeping the environment green.     <summary type="text">If you have suggestions for improving the transportation system in Polk County; the Polk Transportation Planning Organization (TPO) provides a forum for public participation called the CAC.</summary>

            <p>If you have suggestions for improving the transportation system in Polk County and would like an opportunity to be involved in transportation decision-making; the Polk Transportation Planning Organization (<span class="caps">TPO</span>) provides a forum for public participation &#8212;called the Citizen’s Advisory Committee (<span class="caps">CAC</span>).</p><p>The <span class="caps">CAC</span> meets on the fourth Tuesday of the month at 7:00 p.m. in Room 413 of the Polk County Neil Combee Administration Building, located at 330 West Church Street in Bartow.  If you are interested in serving on the <span class="caps">CAC</span>, membership applications are available on our website at: www.polktpo.com, or by contacting <span class="caps">TPO</span> Staff at 534-6790</p>
