Citizens Advisory Committee
The Citizens Advisory Committee provides a forum for public participation in the TPO’s planning process. Its membership consists of a broad range of participants representing various sectors of Polk County, including local commerce, and private non-profit or community organizations.

If you have suggestions for improving the transportation system in Polk County and would like an opportunity to be involved in transportation decision-making; the Polk TPO provides a forum for public participation called the Citizen Advisory Committee (CAC).
The CAC meets on the fourth Tuesday of the month at 7:00 PM in Room 413 of the Polk County Neal Cabee Administration Building, located at 330 W Church St, in Bartow. If you are interested in serving on the CAC, please submit the membership application to Laura Lockwood.
